How to optimize your production - meet ELPLC Smart Factory (1)
How to measure work efficiency and how to get a real picture of the influence of the human factor on the work of the entire production line? Problems with constant performance disruptions and achieving production targets on our customer's large line are a thing of the past. A good solution for optimizing production time turned out to be a dedicated KPI operator work analysis module as part of the ELPLC Smart Factory environment.
In a typical application, this module is designed to indicate the efficiency of operators' work, their average working times, efficiency records and inform the engineer in a given production line about problems. These can be any disruptions to the performance and delay of a specific operator, affecting the performance of other operators and the entire line.
Based on the collected data on the number of cycles performed, production tables and the average operation time, the module's algorithm predicts whether the production line is able to achieve the production target with the current production and its efficiency. Regardless of the result, there will also be information available about how many items will be executed.
